Child in the Soi
Jan has always loved taking photos of children. In this instance, this little boy seemed so enthralled with the prospect that there were "farang" (Thai for "guava" but also "foreigner") in the Soi that he stood staring at us for quite a long period of time. We asked his mother if we could take his photo, as it is often difficult to get such undivided attention from a subject. The above is the resulting image, the best of what turned into a photo session of sorts. Comments are welcome!
Nice pics! Congratulations for your blog ;)

Ha! Isn't that funny that the word for "foreigner" also means "guava"! Personally, I'd take that to be a compliment. Guavas are delicious. And so is that picture! xoxox
