Organ Harvesting Report to Appear Thursday

Last May, former Canadian parliamentarian and Secretary of State David Kilgour, and human rights lawyer David Matas decided to investigate the allegations of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China. Their report is due out tomorrow, but on Monday, Canadian news Channel CTV interviewed Kilgour and got a preview of what is to come.

"I don't think anyone can have any doubt that this unbelievable practice is continuing," Kilgour said of his findings.

The rest of the story: China involved in harvesting organs: Cdn. report

We are very impressed with this pair for taking head-on what most politicians and diplomats want to avoid at any costs -- allegations that already have the Chinese Communist regime representatives frothing at the mouth.

We look forward to reading the report, which comes out on Thursday!

For those interested, an article about the Chinese Embassy in Canada avoiding issuing visas to Kilgour and Matas: China Embassy Dodging Organ Harvesting Probe, Says Ex-MP.

In case it is unclear, we are not talking about Sujiatun here, but a network of Chinese hospitals / concentration camps that supplies organs to willing buyers -- within one or two weeks, instead the 2-5 year wait necessarily anywhere else.

Good comprehensive article on the topic: Chinese Hospitals Scramble for Organs.

Did Kilgouor talk to US State Dept., or Harry Wu of LaoGai Research?

Falun Gong. Harry Wu of LaoGai Research has been reported by other Canadian media casting doubt on the accusation:

http://www.canadianchristianity.com/cgi-bin/bc.cgi?bc/bccn/0606/07chinese

"Wu adds: "The Falun Gong practitioners say, 'We believe this is true because Chinese communism is a barbaric, evil system. They will do anything.' So the conclusion is: they did it. The evidence? Today, not enough."

Hi Charles,

Actually, they did speak with Harry Wu. We think it's a good idea that you take a moment to read the report, and especially the appendix, which details their sources. A good quote from the report is:

"Our conclusion comes not from any one single item of evidence, but rather the piecing together of all the evidence we have considered. Each portion of the evidence we have considered is, in itself, verifiable and, in most cases, incontestable. Put together, they paint a damning whole picture. It is their combination that has convinced us."

The report and its appendix can be found at:

The Chinese regime published their standard denial message in response, with some accusations, which Kilgour and Matas chose to respond to. It's worth reading that response as well.

Harry Wu just release an open letter debunking Falun Gong's claim. You should read it:

http://www.zonaeuropa.com/20060806_1.htm

And "incontestable"? Appendix 12, Case 1 about Wang Bin is utter falsehood:

- Wang's brain was removed? Is there such thing as brain transplant? Removal of organ is routine for autopsy.

How did Kilgour miss this? He was once a prosecutor, no doubt met with murder case - how did he miss this?

- Look at the photo, the incisions around the neck is to reveal the hyoid bone for evidence of strangulation. I had a pathologist review the photo and he characterized Falun Gong's assertion as "bullsh!t".

Not to mention there's no neck organ to harvest. If you want the emails from the pathologist, just send me an email.

- Even Falun Gong's own article mentioned autopsy. The 2000 ClearWisdom article on Wang Bin says the authority conducted autopsy as part of Wang's murder investigation, and the jail official implicated was arrested.

In reality the Autopsy photo proves the opposit is true. Epoch Times mis-represented the photo in order to elicit emotional reponse.
