Jerusalem Stone
When in Jerusalem, perhaps its most striking feature is the stone. In the old city, perhaps, this is obvious -- but there are also building codes stipulating that every new edifice must, at least on the outside, be made of stone. This creates an amazing effect. Here are a few photos of Jerusalem stone:
