Huang and Kaixin go to New Zealand
Huang Guohua, one of the detainees at the Bangkok Immigration Detention Center, flew to New Zealand on January 15, along with his 4-year-old daughter Kaixin. Well done New Zealand for offering them assylum!

Meanwhile, 4 more remain in custody, though there is some talk of them also being being resettled soon to another country, likely Norway. Unfortunately, Thai authorities continue to cave into pressure from the Chinese embassy, and have not released them.
