We've been souring the internet for a free blogging service that has similar services to Blogger, and as far as we can tell, there is none. There are many great free blogging services such as Wordpress out there, but they do not allow for the extensive customization of the blog template, which is something that we really depend on. We were really hoping we could find something we could use to entice those of you who are also with Blogger to move on...


The only thing comparable to Blogger -- and perhaps better -- is Typepad, but this service charges a monthly fee.

Actually, Wordpress is quite an advanced blogging platform, but the Wordpress.com only offers some quite limited functions. To use all of its capabilities, you need to install it yourself on a server. We happen to have that ability, so we might just do that ourselves. Off to it, then!
