Marathon Cruises by the House

Once a year, the Toronto Marathon is held, where athletes from around the world (well, mostly local and regional ones to be completely truthful) descend upon the city. To make the event happen, there are many road closures in the city, including in front of the house we are staying at.

Our good friend Sarah recently ran a marathon, this despite a past debilitating injury to her leg, which left questions as to whether she would ever be able to walk properly again. Congratulations Sarah! According to marathon-training.net, someone entering in a marathon race should have been running for at least a year, 3-5 days and 15-25 miles per week. That's a decent commitment!
